Looking to trade or sell my Real McCoy’s J-24 in size 40 lightly worn for a Size 42 or a Freewheelers San Mateo or centinela in 42, wildcard chance I know. Side note..I guess staying home for 3 months is not ideal for maintaining your current wardrobe as-is.

20.25” P2P 24.5” sleeve 17.75” shoulder

If you would not life in the EU I would consider trading my size 42 RMC J24 (shipping, duty, VAT reason...) as a Size 40 would be a bit better for me even if size 42 is still ok. Anyway GLWS!

Thank you! If you would like I can cover all necessary costs beforehand with my PayPal as a gift, just an option to think about but either way I’d love to see some pictures of yours!

Mine has been worn 10-12 times so far but shipping as a gift is not possible (German Customs Office is strict) and reducing the insurance amount is also too risky but thanks for your flexibility.

Adding a jacket I just received but unfortunately is not working out for me. Fine creek leather Leon custom in size 42, looks lightly worn, price is $1400 shipped but really looking for a freewheelers la brea, San Mateo or real McCoy’s j-24 in size 42..

Epaulets are cut off?

Yes from factory as a design choice, reasoning behind this is that more than a few vintage jackets from the 50’s were recovered with epaulets and belt cut off by previous owner due to them flapping in the wind during riding and annoying the rider.

Not only epaulets, but the belt was strangely cut off by japanese maker too((
I'd prefer them not to do such things, have seen lots of nice vintage MC jackets before and has never seen any with the belt and epaulets cut off. If I saw such things on any vintage jacket I'd thought the jacket was ruined by somebody.
But I strangely like this Leon jacket despite its epauletes and belt being cut off, may be because of its nice leather.
Interesting what @tmitchell59 think about such things? Is it quite a real story from the big world of vintage MC jackets or it's just an example of curious japanese marketing?
P.S. The leather this Leon made of is gorgeous!

I am not familiar with the cutting off of Belts and epaulets on vintage jackets. I've seen a couple with belts cut off, but don't think of that as a common occurrence.

Plenty of folks here ride with vintage jackets, never heard a complaint about epaulets and belts to be an issue.
Yep, that's what I'm talking about, there's simply strange japanese fantasy or their curious marketing took a place over there once again. But what a gorgeous leather this jacket's made of! I very like those Fine Creek blackened brown thick hides.
@Dredgen Yor , GLWYS!
P.S. That RMC Buco above is stunning!

@Hh121 likes to slice off the “extras” like that. So clearly there is at least some niche that likes it, and Japanese makers are nothing if not interested in niche markets.
