Re-Mix shoes - How are they on sizing...

Hi, probably been asked before, but how are they on sizing, I'm in the UK and take a UK size 6 European 39.

Are they true to size? I've looked at the measurments page and I'm all over the shop as I have quite narrow feet, wondered if anyone had any idea how they fitted overall??

Yes, I have found them to be true to size. I wear a 7.5 and order size 8, and that size fits well (just a touch big, as the size 7 is a touch small.)

I have the 103s in red and white and I love them--the leather is so soft and supple and they are so comfortable, even after four hours of lindy hopping

The measurements page gives the actual measurements so if you measure a pair of your shoes that fit you well you can compare it to the sizes on there. I have found that the measurements of the wedges matches those given on the chart, and they run half a size too small than your normal size. So I take a UK 8 and I have the wedges in an 11 which corresponds to a UK 9 usually but in these styles is actually an 8.5.

I have tried on the next size down too and I can safely say I made the right choice but then I don't have particularly narrow feet. It could be that you could get away with the wedges in an 8 (UK5.5) but I wouldn't like to say for sure. It depends how enclosing the style is really as I have both the pleated toe and the Briarcliffe and the former is a teeny bit loose and the latter is almost perfect on me.

I have said it before in this forum (I'm not on a commission!!) but you should call (not email as he is rubbish at replying) Colin at Johnson Shoes (www.johnsonshoes.com) because he makes up and sells all Remix wedges in the UK so it's a darn sight easier to send them back if they don't fit. Plus you don't pay any import duty or anything on them.

I'm a US 9.5. In the wedgies, I take a 10 from Remix. In the babydoll pumps, I take a 10. In the Veronica shoe (open toe platform) I take a 9. So...try them on if you can!
