If you are searching for Ventile then you already know it's amazing waterproof and naturally breathable 'OLD SCHOOL' properties & how difficult it is to get hold of these days. AMAZING heavy weight Ventile that Barbour (the age-old English wax-jacket company) no longer produce because it was so expensive for them to make.
First introduced in WWII for military RAF aircrew flying over open water. This is 'double ventile' and not a single skin so will take most of what the elements will throw at it and still come out looking GREAT.

Outer L19 heavy weight Cotton Ventile
Lining L24 mid weight Cotton Ventile
Two hand warmer pockets
Two bellow pockets with buttons to keep open
One inner small pocket
One large drop/ secured poachers pocket
Articulated action shoulders for ease of movement
Internal waist cord
Signature Barbour Corduroy collar
Buttons for hood (and YES, this has the additional private purchase matching ventile hood, which is rare).
New heavy duty zip just been added.
Small signs of wear and very small marks, but hardly noticeable.
Inner fabric looks almost new
The outer is strong, there's one or two little snicks in the fabric but doesn't affect its looks nor its properties and water still beading well and it works against the elements a treat.
Rare to find the heavier Double Ventile, especially with the separately purchased hood.
Can't praise this jacket and the fabric enough.
Measurements (read carefully chaps, memorise & measure one of your own jackets):
Across chest, armpit to armpit: 61cms / 24" (so makes it a 44 ).
Top of sleeve seam to cuff: 57cms/22.5"
Across shoulder to shoulder: 56cms/22"
Collar back straight down to bottom of jacket: 88cms/34.5"
A very clean and robust jacket for the outdoors, this is a great deal.
Postage will be actual cost to your destination.
Ensure you're happy with it fitting first and ask if unsure as once it's sold there's no returns.
