hi this is a very rare vintage 1930,s 40,s cavanagh edge fedora 7 3/8 but it just fits me at a 71/2 but not well . its mint condition never worn PM ME . with offers thanks.

Experts, what say you?

To my very non-pundit eyes, the crown and the ribbon look mid-thirties, and the brim sixties. I know - and like - the shorter brims of the thirties as compared with the fourties, but this really looks very short.

i think im almost sure its 30,s from the wrighting on the hats liner. and i have seen hats from the 60,s before this is not one of them. thanks

I wouldn't say I'm an expert, but...

it's hard to tell without seeing the leather sweat band.

My guess from looking at the uncreased, thick felt, etc,
is 50s to 60s. The liner looks synthetic, too.
