It covers the changing styles a bit as I remember. It's a book about the long 20th century trend that resulted in few men wearing brimmed hats by the end of the century. It's not a catalog of styles or an encyclopedia of creases and blocks. You'll enjoy it as it is well-written and an interesting tale.

It is a history book, sort of...

The book Hatless Jack is about the decline of the hat industry and the changing styles where men stopped wearing hats. The premise has been that President Kennedy killed the hat industry/fashion when he entered Office and no longer wore a hat. The book debunks this myth. I think the book is great and very interesting.

A must read for all hat lovers.
