I've got a pretty good collection of 40's shoes, now I need a couple pairs of 50's shoes. The shoes must match the outfits, afterall. I'm not having much ebay luck these days (I'm tired of being outbid at the last minute), can anyone recommend a site that has good modern shoes that replicate the look? I'm not really familar with the look.

All you really need is a basic pair of stiletto heels or something with a narrower heel. I find these at Target all the time! Ballet flats were also popular and many women carried them with them in their handbags, as stilettos (especially metal-tipped ones) damaged floors and many buildings didn't allow them.
