Remember with Popular Mechanics promised us Flying Cars, Anti-Grav Belts or Rocket Packs? Well mebbe one out of 3 ain't bad. I know it's not the first but other iterations of the Flying Car sucked at being both car or plane. This thing actually seems to be able to do both reasonably well.
