Soak them overnight in Kraft Zesty Italian dressing and BBQ them on the grill or make Quail and Dumplings like Dove and Dumplings. Yummy...

Skeet: Unfortunately, the quail populations has been decimated down here. They've been driven back to a couple of very remote redoubts in the Ouachita Mtns. Most of the hunting is done on private preserves with released pen raised birds. No one seems to have gotten to the bottom of the decline despite the money and effort of Quail Unlimited and Quail Forever. State Game and Fish efforts are geared to maintaining large wild turkey populations. Fortunately, we do have plentiful dove populations.
