Pre 1930's Hand Carved Figures with Great Detail

My mom passed these along to me. She said they were brought to the US before the 1930's from Africa. I would like to get some more information about them if anyone can help. I've tried to research them online but am not running into much information. They really are neat peices that tell a great story.
