With the new changes and expansion of the ladies' rooms, we welcome you all to review the FAQs of the PR and the Beauty section of the Fedora Lounge.
This is a place for all ages to come together, so this is just a friendly reminder of some posting guidelines here at the lounge.
* We are an open forum for both sexes but request that the men do not post in lingerie threads.
Fellas, if there is a relationship thread in the Powder Room, we ask that you DONT post in it unless its specified.
* Please refrain from profanity. We are ladies, after all!
* Please don't post anything considered sexual or erotic, be it pictures, posts, or links that contain any partial or full nudity. We know our commonplace undergarments are now considered erotica. Please make sure that when you post a link that the site contain any photos of this nature. Catalogs of the Golden Era showed these items tastefully, and so can we!
* No links to your personal website where you sell items for profit. If you have a few of your personal items to sell, please feel free to put them in classifieds. Vendors are highly encouraged to not mention their websites or auctions. If you are interested in advertising on the Fedora Lounge, please contact MK.
* Live eBay Auctions are not allowed. Feel free to post a link to the auction after it has closed (so we can see what goodies you just got), or if you are selling something from your personal collection put it in classifieds.
*Please don't advertise your classified posting in a separate thread (Even if it is about the type of item you have for sale). We encourage members to visit the Classified forum regularly to keep up on new postings of items for sale or auction."
* We are a growing and diverse group of ladies and we ask you to keep that in mind when posting comments to any and all things, let us be welcoming in our speech, and not put down any other member for any reason.
*If you are unsure about a topic that you wish to post (or even where you think you should post it), run it by a bartender.
*Before you make a thread, do a search. Chances are someone else had a question on that topic as well.
*Special note for lingerie posts*
We are a group that caters to people with a love for past eras of all ages, please make sure when you post a lingerie link to check out the content of the site. Please make sure that there is no nudity, especially exposed breasts, allowed to be shown or linked to from this site. While we know the value and benefits of wearing things like garter belts, stockings, long line bras, and girdles, unfortunately these are seen by the vast majority today as fetish items. If the people of the golden era could show these items tastefully, so can we!
