As 2024 draws to and end, it’s time for an update.

A few jackets came in the door this year and a few jackets went out the door. All changes were in the leather/suede department.

Thedi’s: MTC-1279720, MTC-1279318, MTC-1279107

Yeah, I sold a Thedi this year. I decided that I just had to have a Vanson Maverick and needed the funds.

This category saw a complete overhaul this year. Every item is new additions and everything I previously have were passed on.

Got rid of the Aero Board Racer and picked up an RMC Nelson and said that would be it. That was it. My last jacket.

That’s it’s. NO MORE ROOM for jackets. This time for real.

I lied. I do have a couple more jackets stowed away on a door that I don’t wear as much that you can’t get anymore.

Levi’s x Filson waxed tin cloth trucker in black and tan. The tan one is worn to hell and has shrunk a bit. Can’t find time to break in the black one.

Apolis Activism indigo dyed wool chore jacket. They don’t make this anymore

Thanks buddy! It’s been constantly changing and evolving for the last 8 years and it will probably continue to do that. What I like keeps evolving.

The leather on that one is olive goat. Really beautiful stuff.

Gorgeous leather! kinda makes me second guess my choice of buffalo

Next Thedi I'll most likely go goat, this olive goat and the brown goat both looks amazing!

His goat is amazing but so is every leather that I’ve seen from Thedi. Can’t go wrong whatever you choose in my experience.

Well I just found out there is such a thread whereby people post their jackets collection

I have 3 leather jackets (not counting wool jackets and coats for work) - and I think this is luxury and heavenly happiness for me:

1) aero King of The Road natural CXL which fits me extremely well with a thin base layer underneath - my true 2 seasons dream jacket which I ordered from aero after spending months to deliberate due to the high cost (for me at least).

2) JL Barneveld Remix in heavy goat - got this from a fellow lounger and the fit is great! What I love about this jacket is I can wear a t shirt or a thick jumper underneath and the jacket fits great in both occasions due to the soft goat, cinch at hem and the great pattern. It’s so versatile and has become a second favorite.

3) Vanson Enfield in HH. I got this from a fellow lounger for winter layering - built like a tank. I washed it, greased it and wore it until it dried, before sending it to a jacket maker to make a mouton collar - she is so busy in the run up to Christmas that she hasn’t had a chance to work on my order. So I’ve had minimal wearing time in this jacket since buying it.
