Yes, although it might be new old stock. Certainly it isn't used. I bought it on Ebay.

Bronco Sue Rebuild. Was a 10X Cowboy hat with a much larger brim and a very different crown.

Another Bronco Sue rebuild. Brim was much bigger before and the hat was a bit beat up. Looks great now.

Some interesting hats there, Lando. Some non-traditional looks, with fedora-type creases instead of center dent and pinch. They all look to be in great shape. Wear them in good health!

Dunn & CO Fedora "The Polo"

I just got this hat from EBAY UK today. Its really neat. Its a 50's/60's Dunn & Co fedora. The color is a really nice dark brown with grey undertones and the coolest thing about this hat is the high brim flange which is reminiscent of 1930's hats. The felt is extremely soft and very finely finished. The hat is very light in weight and most likely is a "featherweight" type hat. There is no liner, only a label which states the company name and the country of origin. The sweatband is still very soft and pliable. It has a 2 inch brim. Im not really wearing 2 inch brims anymore, because I mostly wear 2 1/8 - 2 3/4 inch brims now. If anyone is interested in the hat, Im accepting offers for trades or for purchase. The specs are as follows:

Open Crown: 5 1/4 inches
Brim: 2 inches
Size: 7 (UK) which equals a 7 1/8 (US) (About 22 1/4 inches, so a bigger US 7 or a small US 7/18)
Ribbon Width: 1 inch wide
Front Pinch (shaped): 4 1/4 inches high
Back (shaped): 4 1/4 inches high

Johnnyphi 1950's Royalist

Just got this one from Johnnyphi today. When I pulled the hat from the box, its condition was so much better than I thought it would be. It has a 2 3/4 inch brim which is a bit large for me, but I think I will learn to like wearing it for every day use. The felt is amazingly soft and pounced very fine. The size is 6 7/8 which is a bit small for me. I wear a small 7, so I only have to stretch the hat about 3/8 - 1/2 inch in circumference which shouldn't be too hard. When I purchased the hat, I thought the ribbon was black, but it actually turned out to be a nice burgundy brown color which goes great with the tan felt. The edge binding is pretty wide and is bright white in color. I love this hat. The open crown measured at 5 3/8 inches and the ribbon is 1 inch wide. Heres some pics:

These are all nice hats but I love this one. If I was to buy a homburg, this is what it would look like.

Josh, that's a nice 50/60's Dunn. The high brim flange is actually a common trait on Trilby's, even now take a look at the Bates site and the style is still pretty much the same.

Josh, I really like the contrasting ribbon and binding on the Royalist. The Dunn reminds me of my old brown Echter Borsalino. Nice finds!

Hückel Extra

This is a really nice one from Fritz Hückel Weilheim. Unfortunately it has some severe mothing. Otherwise it is in very good condition. Probably late 1950s.

Thanks for the kind words and the Link, Billy! My hat looks just like "The Racing" fedora except mine is a bit darker. I really love the high flange. I wonder why that style remained popular in the UK and kind of faded in the USA.

I wish modern "off the shelf" fedoras were still offered with angle cut and frayed ribbon treatments like that.
