New Hat

This beaver blend is going out today.

Large dimensions. Color is really in the undefinable zone.Charcoal/gray/green/brown/putty. Rusty-brown edge binding and black ribbon.

That looks like the twin of my Stetson vitafelt homburg, even the description of the grey/charcoal/green/purple/blue/tan/taupe felt.

Borsalino

Very late (1982) original family Borsalino (size 61 cm) made for the German market. Looks gray in photos but casts a olive hue. Missing liner but other wise in good condition.

Navahoe (sp!!!)

Well this hat is fantastic!, except I don't know who made it....it came to me liner less anyone have any ideas?
Looks to be 30's to me, I am hoping someone will recognize the re order tag

Resistol Hats

That is an old Fedora Resistol, I got by inherit from my father, it is a beauty black, self conforming, 3x beaver, if you touch it, seems like silk, I use it only in all november´s morning when the winter begin here.

It is quite a winner, I have run though the gambit of vintage head gear and this one is quite a hat, the felt is more stiff then a fedora but not as stiff and a cowboy hat, the result is it goes from open crown to any hand bash seamlessly..would love to know who actually made it because this one tops alot of the hats i currently own

French/Italian Ultra-light Back-bow up-brim

Thinnest sweatband and felt ever, both like paper.

G.A.Dunn & Co. Ltd--World's largest Homburg?

Frayed box-bow. Sweatband is nearly 2-1/4" wide. Brim is 4-3/4" without flattening the curl. A little over 7" open crown, 5-1/2" at front with crease. Finely finished felt--enough for two hats.

The factory stamp has no city or maker info. Just numbers and Rasato(shaven) for the thin smooth finish. Alessandria weight or thinner. Size tag is also unfamiliar. I think the Dunn is quite old. Has only the Piccadilly Circus and Strand addresses not the Oxford Street or any London W designation. Perhaps someone knows the history of the Dunn locations. This hat came from England. Brim is just like a typical Homburg.

This is the Dobbs Optimo crown I picked up from Ebay. It is a lovely hat; soft felt, sewn in liner, and in tip-top condition. Very nice lid!
