Color was very hard to capture with my Canon point and shoot... it's a loden green with copper colored ribbon. Very clean example, soft felt of fair quality. An interesting comparison to my earlier playboy which, in it's modest unstructured style, is sublime. The later version is sublime minus, I would say.

Gorgeous Playboy, Alan!! My favorite thing about the hat is the liner. It looks like a stitched liner tip and Im a total sucker for those. Is it?

Thanks Josh... do you mean an embroidered logo on the liner? It is, yes. I hadn't noticed it at first, the crown protector is heavy and hard to see through. Looking at the odd color scheme last night I noticed it was embroidered and not printed. Posted a picture to the Stetson liner thread. I'd like to add my two playboys to the dedicated thread later today. It's in need of a bump.

This is my brand new CD in mid brown. I'm not wild about darker color hats but I really like this one. It was almost too easy to bash. The only thing I don't like is that Akubra's thin ribbon is 1/2" wide and not 3/8" so I have changed out the ribbon to a 3/8". The 1/2" ribbon just donesn't look right to me. Not thin enough to be a thin ribbon and not wide enough to be on the dressier side of the scale. The 1/2" ribbon and bow look almost cartoonish to me, but that's just me. I got this from Everything Australian after the obligatory 3 month wait. I'm thinking about springing for the new silver belly in Heritage grade but it is a little pricey when you figure in the shipping. I love these Camp Drafts.

Had to add a few pics of this Borso., snagged out of the bay. Not sure of it's age, must be newer, but is this a soft furry hat, wow is this nice! I have never felt a hat this soft! It's incredible, and difficult to take off! So soft it won't hold a pinch crease.
It has that silver/sage green color that is so nice.
