Quite the haul, Bob! Great job. That heather Astor is gorgeous, and the tropic weight is great. That size tag puts it in the 1920s, doesn't it? All of those look great.

Thank Jim! 1920s was what I was thinking, but I'm not well versed in hat dating. Have you seen a Tropic Weight before? I'm not finding anything out there. I'm very happy considering I have about $21 in each hat delivered (and especially happy that I can wear them).

This is one of my recently acquired Biltmore royal fur felt, the "Florence," that I haven't yet given its due. This brim reshaping worked out well for me. It seems easier with a welted edge.

My auction haul arrived. A bit worse for wear due to the packing, but they all needed cleaning and blocking anyway.

I’m stoked that the Stetson and Malrov fit well and the Dobbs and Astor fit well enough!

I thought the Stetson might be a Feather Weight, but it is a Tropic Weight (the auction photo was fuzzy).

Gonna need help dating these.

That's an impressive haul indeed, Bob. Nice hats all of them, but I like the look of the heather felt Astor best.

Biltmore Royal BDF0398 Fedora. Made in Canada. Just arrived. Color is Black Diamond. 2 inch brim, but I like it. Has what I think is an older style biltmore pin (panther? Puma? Mt. Lion?).

I prefer the royal level to their imperial hats. The smooth feel seems just right. the fancier finishes don't do much for me.
