I found this one a few days ago and it is on its way. Very happy. I needed a green hat, like Moe
Great looking hat, Anthony. The signature crease looks good in it as well.1940s Cavanagh
I’ll take some better outdoor shots before putting it in the club thread

Royal De Luxe Stetson Vogue - late 1940's/earl 1950's. Looks like an Open Road with a wide ribbon. I think it was meant to be worn with the brim as shown in the top photo.

I like this one a lot John. That old Adam logo in the liner is cool, the little heart at the bottom is a nice touch. Seems to have some age?More of this Adam Homburg in ADAM ALLEY!

Like new! That liner and sweat really are cool. Is the sweat standard leather? or some kind of calf, goat, or something exotic? Really a nice one Steve.Anton Pichler Graz, Wool, measures 57.5 cm, 162 grams, couldn't find a paper label probably late 1920s to 1930s. I really like the liner design on this Stiff Felt.
Looks like it wants to be a campaign hat. Boy scouts? This one is a bit of a mystery. The eBay listing for my Adam Homburg also included a couple of pics of this hat, which was being included as a bonus. It looked cheap, wool-ish and uninteresting (not to mention overly grommeted), and I was going to conract the seller and tell him to leave it out but then the disease kicked in (CAN'T RESIST FREE HAT!) and just let it be included.
Well, I was wrong on at least two counts. Not wool, and not uninteresting. It's fur felt, with a band made of leather thats heavily processed so I first thought synthetic. The sweat is cloth, but reeded most likely to give some structure. Only marking is the tag.
Crown is 5", brim is 2 5/8". 110g. The color and construction make me think of a uniform hat of some sort. The size marked M is under 22 inches, so I'm thinking maybe a youngster as in a Scout or Cadet of some type?
Any input in solving this mystery welcomed!

I was thinking that, but aren't official BSA uniform pieces marked as such? I don't know much about them, but I have seen Scoutmaster hats listed online that were marked.Looks like it wants to be a campaign hat. Boy scouts?
Mike, Thank you! I don't know the type of leather used for the sweatband but it has a soft hand. The leather is painted / coated off white and has a special finish.Like new!
