You know we want to see much more of this one, don't you?

The size tag is the same but it was hanging literally by a thread, so rather than risk it being torn, I pulled the thread (did not have to cut it) and rejoined it with the other piece which was hiding behind the sweatband which is why it is now completely separate from the rest of the hat (and stored in a small plastic bag in a safe place). There are a few stitches missing on the sweatband as well so given the otherwise pristine condition of the hat, I will eventually ship this off to a hatter and have them fix it all up. I am still recovering from the shipping costs just getting it over here. I have to stop looking at items which are in the US...!
Nice Bama. That sweat band looks yummy tooI know, I know. I really needed another thin ribbon O R clone, so, I bought one. Nicely made, store branded. There are still cowboy hats made under the Cow Lot name but its no longer a western wear store. Reorder tag looks a whole lot like the one in my older Resistol beaver 25. Sewn in liner and the felt is a lot like my other 25's. Resistol and Churchill. 2 3/4" brim. Color is much closer to light gray than any of my other silverbelly hats.

Me too!Nice one Greg! I like the liner...
the most hateful part of my jealosy is that you seem to sport the same head size as me!Cont.
1920s(?) "The Carlson Company"
That hat was sold by the Carlson Company, which is the same place where my most recent 1900s Stetson Expo was also sold, so I couldn't pass this one up.
The rear sweat seem is seen, but shows remnants of being taped, which makes me think the hat was somewhat refurbished somepoint along it's life. This one also bears a union label. The price sticker is the same style as my expo, but sadly shows no markings. I think 20s is a safe guess on age, but the construction reminds me of some older hats I own.
