I am reading a recent bio of him called "The Last Playboy" by Levy. It is so interesting. We think people who are famous for being famous is a recent invention. Meet Rubi!

Wow, all those women! plus he married two of the richest american heiresses ever, Doris Duke and Barbara Hutton...'and he departed from these 2 with buckets of cash, cars, airplanes and all kind of trinkets. One has to wonder what exactly he had that drew all these ladies to him!' [huh]

And the powerful women he dated, Eva Peron and Patricia Kennedy. Many women are drawn to club hopping, car racing, polo playing playboys and there were also rumors about a... um... "larger than life" quality that he was reported to have had.

Well, in the restaurant trade, those long pepper grinders that waiters use to put fresh ground black pepper on your salad at your request, are sometimes still referred to as "Rubirosas"

Haversack.

Antonio has been shopping Rubi's story around for a couple of years. With himself attached as the lead, of course.
