Pile collar cleaning

I think the time has come to wash/clean the removable collar and lining from my Schott flight jacket. Any hints on how to wash, products to use. Or does it need to go to a specialist cleaner? Thanks

If it's synthetic pile fleece (and removable from the jacket), you can probably just throw it in with the rest of your laundry (cold wash, hang to dry). Alternatively, hand wash with some mild Woolite detergent and hang dry.
