That is cool. I hope Peterman is treading carefully as he ventures far afield of his core products this time.

I'd always heard those referred to as "gadget canes." Keep an eye out. They're very collectable, but still plenty of them out there.

I'm not into weapons, but the same thought came to my mind concerning an umbrella or walking stick with a hidden flask. Even if it's less than the allowed 100ml (or whatever the limit is), and even if you think it's silly because every child will instantly recognise it's some 1963 Fonseca port - hidden, unlabeled flasks simply aren't en vogue among security people these days.
