Penman hat stand...

Does anybody here own the Penman hatters hat stand?
On their website it says that the head can be set horizontally or in an angle.
I wonder how does that work and if in the long run, with use, if you have it horizontal they weight of the hat will make it tilt?[huh] I'd post a picture but I don't know if the guys at Penman will be ok with that.

I believe that one style is flat across & another is at an angle.

I believed so too, but reading what they have on the site, lead me to think otherwise: "My stands are a custom design between myself and my woodworker. The unique design allows hats to be displayed either level or at an angle"[huh]

I'm going to email if no one else here comments.

I didn't post a picture because I don't have their permission. Go take a look at their site, it's there. Hard to tell if the head tilts or if they sell 2 versions of it. From their statement I'd thing the former[huh]

Either position ???? I like you too, but, that is a personal matter.

I prefer the horizontal because I can hang the hat as shown below like the penman, but, if I have work to do I use it as a hoizontal base. Otherwise the slant will always be a balancing act.

There is an "antique" one there as well. It may take a little time, but, you will find the one you are looking for if you want one on eBay.
