Does anybody own a pair? The pleated wool sharkskin model looks rather nice, especially in navy. They also have a nice pair with D-rings (no loops) in Donegal wool with box or inverse pleats. I emailed the company (they replied immediately) and they told me the front rise on their trousers was 12 3/4, which is pretty decent especially if you're only going for a 40s/50s look. Curious if anyone owns a pair of their trousers and can speak to their quality and vintage style. Thank you.

I don't have any loose trousers from PF, but I do have a couple of suits. One has what I consider to be proper high-rise trousers, the other is a little lower, but still acceptable. I found the cut on the suits varies, some are proper old-fashioned suit cuts, some tend to the modern fad of shorter/tighter jackets, lower-rise trousers, etc. You really have to try them to see, but they have a good return policy, so it's not too big a risk. If the rise is reported correctly (i.e. outseam minus inseam), 12-3/4 is a pretty good dimension.

PS always look for coupon codes at PF - currently the code HWRETM gives 20% off orders over $175 until Oct 31.

Thank you. I think I'll give it a try.
