Hi all,

I have a 45 rpm record player from the 1950s. It is a RCA Victrola. It currently does not work and a friend of mine is repairing it for me. I need to get a new needle and cartridge, but can't find the parts. I have been resesarching online, but cannot find them.

Does anyone know where to get the parts to repair this record player?

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks.

It looks like this:

I see you're in California, but you don't say where. Long state.

Local to me, in Berkeley is Al Lasher's. It's a great electronics parts
store. For some reason they have quite a selection of old style
phonograph needles. Best way to get the one you need is to bring
in the old one or the record player. Suppose they might do it by
mail order.

I agree, Al Lasher's is great!
FeltFan, do you mean real old phonograph needles? I need some for my new toy. I wonder if they have parts for Victrolas too? I can see exactly what part it is and how to remove and reinstall it, but no luck in the internet yet.
