Panama hat liner

Hello all, Is it feasible to put some kind of liner in a panama hat? I tend to sweat a lot and my hat touches, ever so lightly, the top of my head. I'm bald on top so the sweat transfers a bit to the top of the hat. I want to keep it from staining or ruining the straw. Any suggestions.

Thanks.

Many of the vintage Borsalino and Schoble lightweights camewith a small cloth pas glued to ine inside of the crown top for this very purpose. Our very own Art Fawcett places one of these inside his Artlite felts and it is verynifty looking.

I am pretty sure one of the supply companies could help you out.

My Cavanaugh Milan straw is set up just that way. There's a small oval piece of silk material with the Cavanaugh logo lightly glued into the crown. It's just big enough to protect the crown without resorting to a full liner, which would kind of defeat the purpose of a summer straw I think.
