What do you think guys, if they ever decided to do a ROCKETEER II, think I might get a look in with the director to whisk Jennifer Connelly off her feet in my 'wee' vintage bird here...?

Hey, I can wish...!!! ha ha!

(photo taken at the Shuttleworth Museum near London. It is almost unchanged from its days as a private air club in the 30's! and houses vintage aircraft that fly, and vintage cars/motorbikes. In many ways, I prefer it to the larger state funded museums. This is more homely and like travelling back in time. Especially when you have a WW1 Sopwith Pup landing on the grass strip!!).

Cause I would rather see pictures of Golden Era stuff that I can't have then see pics of dames... cause I already got a good one of those.

Hi there Marlowe, the aircraft is a Miles Magister, which was used heavily by the RAF in the early part of the war to train their pilots. It is a beauty from the 30's that never won an 'Oscar' for any silver screened performances, but did much backstage work in preparing 'The Few' to defend Britain during the Battle of Britain in 1940 (that thwarted Operation Sealion and Hitler's plans to invade the UK).

And yes, she's a beautiful kite
