Last week I went away on holiday and faced the eternal problem of how to pack shirts with getting them completely creased. I found the solution at my local butchers shop. I ironed and folded my shirts, took them to the butcher, and we vacuum packed them.

It means they pack into a much smaller space than would be normal. Also when you unpack them and hang them for a couple of hours, the creases fall out really well.

Not an option for everyone, but it was fun!

Good point. I didn't think of that. But then this is rare occurence for me and I would excuse it to myself on the grounds that I rarely waste plastics and packaging.

As an added benefit, that packing folder, when filled with shirts, protects the wine I have purchased when travelling from that oh so gentle luggage fling of the baggage handlers.
