Size 42, sateen B15a, WWII spec with alpaca lining, diagonal offset zip, heavy cotton lined slanted brass poppered pockets. Solid knits with some moth nips and wear, but fine. Heavy 'off white' mouton collar in deep fleece gives this a very unique and fine look against the green sateen. Conmar Zip (but of the early chunkier 50's style), so either a replacement, though my gut and eyesight tells me probably not, or indicates this jacket was made in 'early' 50's. But for all intensive purposes this looks, feels like an original WWII B15a and in GREAT condition with no rips or tears to the main body.
At £200 plus postage, this unique jacket is a bargain.
As ever, PM if you want it. Thanks again.

...

You need to get about 15 entries in the Lounge before being allowed to PM (A few well chosen 'comments on member's hats should get the count up nicely;) ). But it's a lovely 'period' jacket using the original WWII sateen fabric, which is just gorgeous. The off white mouton makes this very special.
