I have not a clue about leather jackets but I like the look of this one. And it's fromn ACME, you know?

Joel...I wish I knew more about how the seller arrived at a date for this jacket. This style has been made for a long time beginning in the 'twenties and it continues today. It clearly isn't military...as the seller honestly states...and it isn't an A-1 in the military flight jacket sense of the term. Also, it seems to have been relined and we sort of have to take it on faith that the original tag was preserved when this happened. What I do like about it is that it shows what a capeskin A-1ish jacket looks like when well broken in.

I don't know that it shows any sign of having been relined …

I don't know that it has either. But the lining...and the knits...seem (in the photos) to exhibit much less wear than does the jacket's shell. As you know, original linings in eighty year old jackets will often be worn and decomposed especially around the collar and waist band. Also, bright colors in a lining such as this would likely fade in the years since 1930. Am I 100% sure the jacket has been relined? Of course not. Not without personally inspecting it. But if I had to bet, my bet would be yes...

I don't know much about leather jacket linings (actually I know nothing about leather jackets at all) but the sleeve lining looks very shiny for a vintage item.
