The Borso has a really nice story and, honestly, I'm torn about letting it go but I never wear it, so... Anyway, my wife and I were visiting New York City and I dragged her all the way to Brooklyn to visit Bencraft! And I tried on this Borso and that Borso and none of them really worked for me. Finally, the senior Mr. Goldstein (Besdor, who posts here, father) dug WAY back and pulled out this new old stock, vintage 1973, black Borsalino Torino in 7 3/4! It was perfect, given what I was wearing at the time!
Now, it's a bit stingy, 2 1/8 brim with a Cavanagh edge, has a nice high crown with very little taper. I had a contrasting brown ribbon put on, which you might want to change. It is in pristine condition, but could use a good brushing.
Asking $150 + shipping.
