HI,
I just bought 2 radio's for my WWII Office. 1 I know is a pre war and the other I think is post.
I just got a 52TA that has not been refinished but in excellent shape. I gave $25 for it. It picks up stations with no problems.
I just bought a wood 66TC in mint restored condition. I just paid $80 for it. I figured that in mint restored shape that this was a good price.
Do you think that was a good deal?
I am going to put both in my WWII Office, what was the part also that I can connect and use CD's, etc and run it through my Old radio?
I am still trying to find old WWII stuff to add to my WWII Office and WWII Bedroom.
Thank you to all!
Chad

I think you did fine, if you are happy. I would have good radio person check them for safety and that normally means replace all caps. and any bad stuff like wires, My Bendix had a bad wire, but worked fine. Lucky it got fixed before it could short out and maybe cause a fire.
I use a AMT3000 (a great unit) from SStrans to broadcast from my computer hard-drive to my old radios and some not so old radios too. Good Luck!

I think you did good as well, if they're the ones I'm thinking about.
They're Crosley radios? I just typed in the model numbers you provided and that's what came up on a Google search.

Do your radios even have phono inputs (RCA jacks) already installed in the back? That's how I play my other media over the old console radio I use, I don't have SStran, yet. These were originally installed to allow you to hook in a record player or eventually a television, basically made your radio function as a speaker.

If you have those jacks, you can take a few precautions if you feel that way - see this thread I started a while ago, might help you too:
