Odd hat

I don't know if this hat has come up here in the FL before, but I came across it while perusing the aul Wikipedia:

Not a style you see people wearing too often!

I have an old, OLD Akubra beater that I acquired in a thrift store for two-bits that looks an awful lot like that. It is the softest, most pliable and comfortable hat I own.

There's nothing odd about that hat. It's just a well worn fedora with a welted edge and 19line band. I wouldn't sell a hat like that new but after a few years thats what a hat will look like !!
