As I've mentioned here before, my dad, in his younger, hippie days (long hair, the works) used to be into vintage clothes. A lot of older family members gave him '30s hats and suits (and he's a short skinny guy, so it fit him :rage: ), and vintage was easier to find then. He's told me of the old vintage clothing warehouses where clothes and hats would be stacked in piles up to the ceiling.
The one he likes telling me about belonged to an elderly family member (I can't remember off the top of my head exactly what the relation was, but I think it may have been a great uncle or something of that like), who broke his arm as a child. It was badly set, so when he grew up, one arm was a good inch or two shorter than the other.
My dad got a suit of his, a custom tailored early '30s job, and it all fit perfectly, except the one arm, which was way shorter than the other. Because it was tailored that way, with the buttonholes and all, it couldn't be tailored to fit him, so he had to get rid of it.
Has anyone else ran across any baffling things like that lopsided jacket?
