Kino has announced a November 20th release date for Nosferatu (2-Disc Ultimate Edition). Retail is $29.95. Details below:

Backed by an orchestral performance of Hans Erdmann's 1922 score (recorded in 5.1 stereo surround), this Kino International edition presents Murnau's masterpiece with unprecedented clarity and faithfulness to the original release version. This double-disc collection presents the film with the original German intertitles as well as with newly-translated English intertitles. Accompanying the film is a 52-minute documentary by Luciano Berriat??a which provides a detailed account of the production and explores the filmmakers involvement in the occult.

Cool, I must put that on my Amazon wishlist. I love the look of Count Orlock... totally chilling. Any fans of Nosferatu who haven't seen Shadow of the Vampire really must.

I've seen a brief scene where he comes out of his coffin, but that's about it.

I just picked up a single dvd of this....the one with the sountrack done by Type O Negative ...at the 99 cent store..

Yea yea...i know....I happen to -adore- Type O...so its not a deal killer for me like it would be for most of you.....
