I've been looking for a ring to indicate my service for a while now. I wanted something unique and classic, but subtle. Air Force rings are a dime a dozen and aren't all that attractive.
This one was inexpensive, it's sterling, and has a great design. I can wear it with anything I want, old or new. Sure, it says 'Army' on it, but that's a conversation starter.
Best of all, except for the occasional 'trying', it's probably never been worn. It's 100% mine. It spent its entire life in a jeweler's stock until he passed away...at one point, it was probably on display for servicemen to buy during WWII.
Extremely fine detail...note the hashes behind the lettering
Neat victory 'V' design on the side.
I know at least one other lounger has this ring...
