This particular Loafer has everything; Broguing, Wing-Tip, and Tassel and has intricate brogueing pattern. A very fancy shoe indeed and indispensable for Spring, Summer & Fall. Ideal with odd slacks and tweeds.
Out of the over 200 American Shoemakers clustered around New England at the start of the 20 Century, only a handful remains. Cole-Haan, Allen-Edmonds, Alden and J &M are among the very few who produce there own shoes today, now that the verable Florsheim that produced these shoes has closed its doors. These delightful Loafers/Slippers are from Florsheims last years of American production, the "Comfortech" line, with cushion inner-soles for extraordinary comfort, and one of the first shoemakers to provide a non-slip combination rubber/leather sole. Quite a find in this excellent condition, especially after 25 years.
