Now that's a great looking pecan right there, Terry! The brown ribbon suits both you and the hat.

Thanks Ole! I really like this hat. The Pecan color is versatile and can be worn with just about anything. Aside from the obvious brown color I also noticed that it has some grayish / green undertones. I'm glad I finally chose this color.

I.E. Two different color shirts and the Pecan goes well with both...

Carl Perkins is from around here , grew up just north of me , then lived about 35 minutes south/southeast in Jackson . Go by his house all the time . My daughter loves "Going to Jackson" By Johnny and June Carter Cash about going to Jackson to visit Carl . She and her husband , when they lived in Nashville , would go with a crazy Friend of her's and her Friend's Husband (and Big time Dr at Vandy) and sing it on karaoke nights , ... yeah they're crazy . Great Songs ! Great Hat ! That's the Pecan Beaver , right ?

Thanks buddy. I appreciate that. Oh yeah, Carl Perkins, along with Johnny Cash and Jerry Lee Lewis were three of the greatest in Rock A Billy. All three, as well as Elvis, started their recording careers at Sun Records. Absolutely true, but even more important: The two colors (felt and ribbon) go extremely well with your hair, beard and complexion. You were build for that color scheme and it's neighborhood, Sir!

Mike at NW is a great hatter. He does great work and has wonderful versatility. I have 4 customs from him now with another in the queue. I can send him a picture of a hat, the dimensions etc and he sends me a wonderful replica. I have 4 very different styled hats from him and each one is great.
