Just watched this really moving film about the tragic account of the failed attempt of the Eiger North Face in 1936. Really good, moving story and really good photography, I guess Blue-Ray woould be good. Well worth watching and I guess should be in the Adventurers Gear thread too. What are fellow FL thought's on the film?

After a successful theatrical run in Germany, Switzerland and Austria, the film was released in several non-German speaking countries including the United States, Great Britain, Italy and Japan from 2009-2010, receiving favorable reviews throughout. North Face won the German Film Award for Best Cinematography and Best Sound and the German Film Critics Award for Best Screenplay and Best Cinematography. [2]
