Nice leather longcoat

Hi gents,
Today I noticed this private sale on Dutch Marketplace and would like to share it with you...

It is a vintage leather longcoat in US size 42/54 or EU 52/54
In the 50's and 60's a common coat for "Solex" mopeds riders. Still is popular though. The wooden shoes makes it complete...

Maybe there is interest of one of you who might like the coat... Maybe rebuilding it to a short jacket?

Wow, what a dorky way to travel. lol Wood shoes and a 50cc moped...

The coat certainly looks nice. I wonder who was the first to combine this coat with those shoes on that moped. Brave soul.

The dutch country side must be so beautiful. The Dutch are so hard working.

If you ask me, the coats are rather "Too Much" for the cycles. They seem to want a more substantial machine - say a BMW R6...

The coat appears to be gone already...?

Yep, the coats are indeed too much for the cycles, but perfect for the weather over here .
It might be that the coat is already sold...
On "marktplaats" you will always find these coats or other bargains.
You will find antiques, cars, houses, clothing, shoes, pets, just about anything. Both new and used.
www.marktplaats.nl and search for "lange leren jas" (long leather coat) or "solex jas" (solex coat).

Keep in mind that US and EU sizing differs. An EU size 50 will be an US 40 for example. Most of these coats will go between $ 40 and $ 100.
