I recieved this jacket from John a few weeks ago. It's his new 20960 pattern and it's beautiful!
John made it for his site and was kind enough to offer it to me. I was happy as could be when it fit just right. The russet hide has nice weight to it and is the best aniline yet. Workmanship is perfect as usual. Here are some pics.

Dubow 27798

About two weeks ago I noticed a 27798 that John had made for his site. I e malied him and asked if it was available. He responded that it was. The jacket arrived April 21 and much to my delight(it's a size 46) the fit is perfect.

As everyone is well aware of Johns' expertise, the jacket is flawless and a work of art. The hide is already showing lots of grain and will show much more as the jacket breaks in which I'll let it do naturally.

RW 27752 in HH - Out for a run in the car a week ago. This jacket with piles of jerky and character gets scraped and beaten and just 'begs' for more!!
As the boys 'who know' would say..."It's 1940 in a box" when this baby comes marching home!!

Yes the goatskin RW 18091 is an awesome jacket and I would have bought it had I not already got one in a size 42.

My GW A-1 is now almost 2 1/2 years old. It's still great after lots of wear.

Here are some pics now. Mostly it just looks better. There are some spots where the capeskin stretched,
but for a lot of people distressed sheepskin is just the thing. Looks good to me.

There is some wear, but this is to be expected. Mostly the leather just looks better to me.

Just a short post to share a picture of my GW. It is a 21996 in seal horsehide. I've had it for almost two years. It was one of the first ones made of the new hide. I didn't wear it much for a year or so, but have been using it regularly since the beginning of this year. I think it is breaking in nicely and is a comfortable jacket as well.
