I am not sure if I should contact the moderators directly, or post the suggestion here..... and perhaps this topic has been discussed before. Seeing some of the nice literature (advertising) posted in the Open Road thread, it made me wonder if there's a place here in the Fedora Lounge where people could send scans of their original hat literature. It would be great to have the "real thing" to refer to, and besides, the artwork in those ads is so pleasing to look at.
Having said that, I appreciate that it takes time to scan literature. I imagine it could take a fair amount of space for storage and even more time to organize. I don't want to create a headache for someone, but thought it was an idea worth mentioning.
