New/ Old Boots

Here is a pair of lace up Justin boots that I found. I love the way they fit my narrow foot. They have nice leather soles and are very comfortable. I may even keep the kilte on them, it is growing on me.
I am wondering if I should have them cut down some, as they are fairly tall.
Has anyone had this done? How did the cut down boots look?
Or, should I keep them this height, and just enjoy them.

Other than keeping or removing the kiltie, I wouldn't change a thing. They're as designed right now, and it's a good, honest, functional design. I'd say don't make life more complicated - just wear them and enjoy!

Leave as is.

Leave them the way they are. You can also find Ropers with a 6" top. Ariat and Justin make them as well, I think, Tony Lama.
