I have the problem that I am sure alot of people have, I do for a living a thing that I am not about at all. Sucks. Possibly not for much longer though !!! ^_^ New job in the works. !!! I guess there is hope though !!!!!!!!!! So I will be here reading about all the Cool fashions you guys are wearing and being envious. !!!!!!!!!! So I hope to be posting some new attire whenever that happens...

Just so you are aware, there are -many- of us that do not dress vintage 24-7 or even one day a week.

Thats the joy of this place, different people do different things and like different aspects of the era, from films to music to clothes.

Welcome!

I'm a case in point...I wear vintage accessories with some regularity, but have never found any vintage clothing that fits my frame! Everyone from those with a passing interest to those wearing a complete ensemble are welcome here. Pull up a chair!

Welcome Tonyper!

Also, it's pretty easy for men to find classic clothes that pass for vintage (Brooks Brothers springs to mind) so if you can't find true vintage all at once, you can mix and match pieces. It's almost impossible to buy an entire vintage wardrobe (or even one outfit) off the rack at any store, due to the difficulty on finding the right sizes once you have the right color.
I wish I had a Star Trek replicator sometimes...

Miss........

Thanks Miss, A beauty you are too.

Yeah I guess I can get what I need at most mens stores. I am thinking that I just want to dress sharp, a total makeover if you will. As for vintage it might be hard to find anything my size. 6'4" 200#. I need tall everything!! The fedora's and hats are what I am in love with add shoes and accy's to make the look.
While I am here, are there get togethers of Vintage and Sharp dressers around the US? I know there are Swing Dance parties which are probably very cool. Anything else I should know about?

Thanks BFN,, Tony ^_^
