New Hat

My new hat from Pakeman arrived yesterday. Like everything I get from them, it looks even better in person than in the pictures. It's a very nice hat, made from rabbit fur felt with a very soft velvety touch, lightweight and souple. The ribbon is very nice too. It's unlined and marked "Made in Italy". Looks like an Indy fedora, because of the colour.

That hat looks very nice, Geo. It looks like something Sean Connery's James Bond would wear. -very classic and sporty. It would make a wonderful golf hat.

The brim is wider than it looks in the picture. I'l try to remember to post the brim and crown dimensions tomorrow. I got this as a first "trial" hat, and I'm very satisfied with it. Next, I'm planning to get something more serious, the Adventurebuilt in grey beaver felt.

The crown is 4 3/4 in and the brim is 2 3/8 in. I would like to post pictures, but I don't have a camera. I'm reluctant to move ahead with the new technology; I only got a DVD player a few months ago.

Does anybody know the crown and brim measurements for the Adventurebuilt, so I can visualize better what it looks like, compared to my hat?
