I need some expert opinions, I am thinking of getting my hair cut like Marilyn Monroe's. Now my hair is dead straight, dark brown and at the moment very long. I have a roundish face, wear glasses and have green eye's, I do not know how to post photo's sorry. I know that you can't give a real opinion without a photo but if you could that would be great. :) :) :) :) :) :)

Are you sure? If your hair is now naturally straight you'll have to either perm or put it in rollers regularly to keep that look. Have you curled your hair before and been happy with how your curl held up?
Are you thinking of going blonde as well? That's a drastic bleach job going from dark brown, and will take touch ups at the roots every 3 weeks. Not to mention possible damage to your hair.
Does this level of hair maintenance really appeal to you, does it fit in with your lifestyle and budget?
Also, if you haven't seen yourself with this style, go into a wig shop and try on a short curly blonde wig. Think of yourself having this look every day.
Look at it from every angle, does it work with your face, your glasses, etc?
Not trying to talk you out of it, just be sure you really like it before you go ahead.

Avoid fullness at the jaw if you have a round face. It will just make your face look wider.

You can still have curls, though--my hair is very straight and I wear it in soft, wavy curls (and it isn't permed). It takes me about 10 minutes to fix it.

For your face shape, I recommend a longer style (maybe shoulder length) that won't emphasize the widest part of your face and that you can wear up. Adding a little height via your hairstyle would be good.

I very rarely played with the idea of going blond, and trying once a blond wig completely cured me. I have dark brown hair and my skin is a funny color, is not olive and it's not white, but looking very pale nonetheless and with a funny sort of yellow undertone to it. That wig made me look ill. My skin suddenly looked gray. :(
On the other hand my sister has darker skin, as if she's got a slight tan all the time, yet she looks nice blond!
So what I am saying is that you need to make sure both the color and cut will suit you. Find out about the color first and then you can look for nice cut!

I would not go blond, I think just a shade darker if anything. I like how she has her hair done in Gentlemen prefer blondes, I am leaning towards that more than anything.

Hi, I have dead strait hair too and have to curl my hair to get that marilyn look. If you don't like to curl your hair every day/night you should get a cute bob with layers. If you leave it longer than your jaw it will make great Mariln hair and be cute when you don't have the time or energy to set your hair :)

My hair is cut like this currently, unfortunatly I haven't any pics. I'm trying to grow it out, I like having more hair. SHorter hair is too much maintenance for natural curl (thank god for extensions! ;) ).
JUst get layers around the entire face. After you blow dry your part, flip it the opposite direction for body. If you're not into rollers, a curling iron will do, but don't do it every day, or it will fry.
