New fedora wearer!

My new fedora arrived last week, and I wore it to work for the first time today...getting lots of positive compliments and appreciative glances!

It's not a hugely expensive one, a Stetson Chatham in "caribou" (grey), but I like it (I'm partial to the C-crowns at the moment, but can tell I'm going to start looking at other types soon)...now, if I can just "justify" the price of one of those beautiful Borsalinos!

BTW, the Village Hat Shop in Long Beach staff was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when assisting me in picking this one out!

I wear a modern Stetson from time to time . . . Mine is a Downs model, and it is not a bad knock around hat . . .

But the new Stetsons can not compare with the comfort, and style of the classic vintage models of days gone by . . . Save your pennies. I am sure that this hat will not be your last.
