New Biltmore vs Old Biltmore

Have been eyeing an older model Biltmore, the Presidential that was made in Canada, in Cognac for a while. Just saw some of the new ones recently and they look good too.

Has anyone seen the newer Biltmore hats, with names from major cities worldwide. How do they compare with the older hats?
Buy the older version because it was made in Canada, or try out a new model made in USA? Decisions, decisions!

Either way, probably will get one soon but posted this thread because I keep flipping back and forth.

So far we have the LA, Brooklyn, and Detroit. The Detroit so far is the only one that in US made. The other two are still Canadian. we are cry pleased to far with the American hats very nice quality for a factory hat and good attention to detail. Are you looking at the LA n cognac? That cognac is a wonderful color.

I saw some new US made Biltmores at The Hatter in Toronto back in August.They had just arrived.They were stingy porkpies, but they seemed like quality hats.

Thanks, thats good to know. I am considering the Detroit or the Brooklyn (not ready for porkpie yet). Cannot find any retailer with the Toronto, that's just in the catalog.

Do you happen to know if the cognac colors are the same swatches between the two factories?
