New Aero Windward

Piece of work that jacket!!!!! Superb!!! Looks bang on with that denim, watch & lanyard. Sleeve length as I like it too..perfection

There was a fellow on here who owned several Aero Windwards. I have not seen him around here in some time.

I owned a couple of the originals. One is owned by a current member here. I also owned this beautiful custom French Horsehide Aero. I sold it several years ago as it was too big. It was amazing.

Finally my new Windward arrived!
Here is some pictures of the fit and from the box.
I recieved it Yesterday and wore it straight out from the box! I even slept in it to begin the break in process properly.

What do you think of the fit ?
- The sleeves fit nicely eventhough they look a bit short on the pictures!

Im so excited for my first Aero!

Today I like my sleeves more on the longer side since I realized that it shorten after wear to 1 inch... my sleeves measured 27"

I have worn my jacket almost 20 hours a day since it arrived the 11/12-18. Its not fully broken in, but still fits and feel better than when i received it! Here is some pictures from the Holidays i want to share

Lovely jacket, though your cuffs are a little short for my taste, but that's just me. I keep looking for one but it's one of those styles that rarely turns up on the sale page or on eBay.

It was actually because of one of your posts(picture) that i decided to finally order a Windward
I have never experienced such high quality leather before, and I love every wear ! I sleep with it every night for 4-6 hours and wear it inside aswell as outside during the day!
Mine has begun to fade a little around the zippers, elbows and shoulders! Is that normal with black FQHH you think ?

I mean: of course aging is “normal” put i was not aware that it would appear that fast

To sleep while wearing the jacket is the best and natural method to tame the little "beast" and make it mold to your body..
Yes, the fading is normal and with mine I can see "teacore" (very little brown) is coming trough on the stress parts like zipper and the shiny appearance will become less but thats fine and looks better and better with wear. Wear it in good health and enjoy it!!

August, very nice take on the Windward. I'd always thought of it as a jacket that was perfect for older guys (like me) to cover their beer guts, so I was pleasantly surprised to see it on a younger guy in good shape, pairing it with a hip sort of outfit. I had to go back to the Aero page and look at it again. Kudos to you.

Here is the Windward that I sold. Size 40. @AbbaDatDeHat wears it now. The nicest condition original I have seen.

This is a JC Penney take on the Windward, the only older one in Black I have seen. Long gone in size 36. If this would have fit it would still be in my closet. Check out the Horsehide on this one!

Here is the Custom Aero in French Horsehide with an Alden HH take on the Windward design.

The Black is a superb look, you wear it well.
