Greetings my friends!
My thanks to Carrie at Thurston Bros and Ken at Aero Leather for making this project of mine a reality as I was told this is the first time they have ever made a jacket in this combo... a Wayfarer Jacket minus the sleeve straps (from the front) combined with a Sunburst Jacket (from the rear) and using tan stitching to provide the greatest contrast color with the battered tan HH to make the sunburst really pop out. This is my first battered tan HH jacket and I love the leather and color, though it doesn't have the same FQHH smell I'm used to. It also has lightweight Lochcarron "Macbeth" Tartan lining, black cotton sateen in the arm sleeves, moleskin pockets, and one vertical pocket on the left side with no closure. Aero put their "Camping" label on the jacket instead of the one I was expecting with the car and plane, but I love that camping label.
I am celebrating the release of my debut Hollywood movie, "Attack of the Unknown" (where I play a SWAT Police Officer alongside Richard Grieco and this movie comes out this month on 8/28 on most VOD platforms except for Netflix) and I wanted this jacket to celebrate the occasion as the Wayfarer would have been a popular style worn in Hollywood back in the 1930s. Jacket was made by Morgan Wilson. Pics are below...
