Yes..I'd get a fit jacket for sure. I wear a size 40 in all of my Aero jackets as well as my zip sleeve Bootlegger. I never 'sized down' and it fits great. I own a Bootlegger, Highwayman, '30s HalfBelt and Aero Stuart ( same as Maxwell..I think) all in size 40. Pics were here until Photo Bucket tanked.

The fit jacket fixes all this stuff.
Can't wait to see what you end up with!

Thanks, handymike. I still regret not getting the Aero Seven jacket you were selling, but I wanted to guaranty the sleeve Length for my weird arm length.

It's funny I never thought I'd like a brown jacket, thought it to be too tame. It turns out the CXL brown is probably my favorite. It's a tie really, between this and cordovan. Both show such amazing depth. Pull up isn't very apparent in these pics but at least you can see how the steer has softened dramatically and the jacket is taking my shape and barely able to stand on it's own. After two months of mainly weekend wear. I really love this jacket. Every time I put it on it brings a smile to my face. I don't need much else, save the heavy CXL steer CR for counterbalance. :)

Amazing jacket! After our conversation, I went ahead and ordered a Cordovan CR from Carrie. And now the wait begins... I completely agree that brown has such a great range of colors in that leather. Excited to see how the cordovan comes out!

You'll be staring at that CR for hours and laughing out loud at how beautiful it is. There is nothing else on earth as beautiful as cordovan CXL. It's the Grand Canyon of CXL.

Can you give my some advise about the sizing of the Bootlegger. How is the fit compared to other Aero jackets as a Premier 1930 Half Belt. And what is the difference in sizing with a STF Bootlegger ? ProteinNerd didn’t you have a STF Bootlegger and what size did you choose?
Thanks.
