need some advice on golden era stationary.

Hey all,
i am a Big fan of indiana jones partly because of the image of the 1930's image.

anyway i though i what sort of stationary (E.G. pencil case size stuff) would a 1920s-1930s archaeologist/college studend would of had?
i am recreating one i have strippend the paint off of a metal one so i have a nice plain metal pencil case and i have some useable pencils but i am stuck at what sort of ruler, eraser, sherpener (may of used a knife), pair of compasses would of looked like so i have a picture of what sort of suff to look for.

I don't know, but you might do a search for the word "stationery" (with an E).
